They were listening late night's to WKTU in New York, as well as my dear friend of over 30 years dj Chris Preston of the Disco Doctors (remember STUDIO 8 on West 38th St & Club Le Freeks on East 46th St.). I also loved listening to Shep Pettibone, Tony Humphries, and the late Jonathon Robinson. My axiom at the time was "We live in NY, but we partied in Jersey".
